- Representation of Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Merrill Lynch Capital Corporation, Bank of America, N.A. and JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. in connection with $22.5 billion of debt financings for the leveraged buyout of HCA, Inc., the largest leveraged buyout in history.
- Representation of Goldman Sachs Credit Partners L.P., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Merrill Lynch Capital Corporation, Deutsche Bank AG and Wachovia Bank in connection with $8.6 billion of debt financings for the leveraged buyout of Kinder Morgan Inc., the fourth largest leveraged buyout in history.
- Representation of UBS Loan Finance LLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Lehman Brothers Inc., Deutsche Bank AG and Credit Suisse in connection with $4.0 billion of debt financings for the leveraged buyout of Cendant’s Travelport business.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES:

Rich serves on the Board of Directors of Herbert G. Birch Services, New York State’s largest non-governmental provider of education and related services to children and adults with autism and other mental disabilities. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Allison Gertz Foundation, which provides AIDS education to children and young adults.
