Steve Greene is a senior advisor to public and private corporations on general corporate and securities matters, with particular emphasis on corporate compliance, disclosure and governance issues. He also advises investment banking firms and other financial institutions in connection with their underwriting of public and private debt and equity offerings and their merger and acquisition advisory engagements.
Steve also advises independent directors, audit, human resources and special committees of boards of directors of public companies with respect to corporate compliance, disclosure and governance issues, including recent representation of independent directors of WebMD, Chrysler LLC, Cablevision and Value Line.
Steve is widely regarded as a seasoned practitioner in the aviation and air cargo industries. He has extensive experience in both sectors, especially with respect to secured aircraft financings, leveraged operating leases of aircraft, equipment trust certificate financings and debt and equity offerings for major and regional airlines. He has represented leading investment banks in dozens of prominent industry financings by Continental, Northwest, USAir, American West, Republic and Mesa, to name a few. He has also served on the Board of Directors of a major air cargo company, a commuter airline and a boutique investment bank specializing in aircraft financing.
Steve has practiced at Cahill since his graduation from Harvard Law School, where he was a member of the Harvard Law Review. He became a partner in 1972.
