Social Events

Social activities provide fun ways to get to know our lawyers and one another. Our alumni tell us that our events are an excellent way to get acquainted with the chemistry of the firm.

Our 2008 Summer Program events include:

• Spring Cocktail Reception
• Welcome Reception at the Central Park Boathouse
• Yankee games with “Club” seating (by the Yankee dugout)
• Broadway theatre show and dinner
• American Ballet theatre shows and dinner
• Partner-hosted cocktail receptions
• Private tour of the Guggenheim Museum
• Staten Island Yankees game with a private suite reception
• Day fishing boat trip
• Partner-hosted Summer BBQ -- a long standing Cahill tradition that's often cited as a favorite event of the summer
• Bowling Party
• Cooking classes with wine receptions in Tribeca
• Legal community benefit events, including The Legal Aid Society Annual Benefit, The Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts Summer Benefit and The ACLU-LGBT Summer Attorney Reception
• Observation of trial, visit to Judges’ chambers and lunch with the Judges
• Seminars and summer associate luncheons
• Happy hours
