Number One Ranked Legal Adviser to U.S. High Yield Underwriters; Number Three Ranked Legal Advisor to U.S. Equity Underwriters

Cahill has again garnered top rankings across a range of markets and categories in Bloomberg’s 2014 Global Legal Advisor League Tables, reflecting the firm’s prominence as legal advisors to underwriters of debt and equity securities transactions.
Cahill ranked as the number one legal advisor to U.S. high yield bond underwriters and ranked as the third most active legal advisor to Euromarket high yield underwriters (by deal count), advising on 200 transactions that generated approximately $105.3 billion in aggregate gross proceeds, capturing a 28% share of the U.S. high yield debt market and a 6.5% share of the high yield Euromarket. Cahill has ranked as the number one legal advisor to U.S. high yield underwriters in the legal advisor league tables since 2005.
Cahill ranked third in representing underwriters in Bloomberg’s overall corporate debt securities category in 2014, capturing a 8.1% share of the U.S. corporate debt market. Cahill also ranked among the most active legal advisors to global bond underwriters and to U.S. underwriters of investment grade corporate debt offerings.
On the equity side, Cahill ranked third by value as legal advisor to U.S. underwriters of equity offerings, advising on 33 deals that generated aggregate gross proceeds of more than $15.6 billion, and ranked among the most active legal advisors to underwriters in U.S. IPOs, equity-linked transactions and global equity offerings.
