Cahill’s Capital Markets practice has again earned top rankings in a range of debt and equity categories in Bloomberg’s 2015 Global Legal Advisory League Tables, reflecting the firm’s prominence as legal advisors to underwriters of debt and equity securities.
Cahill ranked as the number one legal advisor to U.S. high yield bond underwriters, advising on 100 transactions that generated approximately $71 billion in aggregate gross proceeds and capturing a 36% share of the U.S. high yield market. Cahill has been ranked as the number one legal advisor to U.S. high yield underwriters in the legal league tables since 2005. Cahill also ranked fourth by deal count as legal advisor to U.S. underwriters in Bloomberg's overall corporate bonds category and ranked among the most active legal advisors to U.S. underwriters of investment grade corporate debt offerings, Western European corporate high yield bond underwriters and global bond underwriters.
On the equity side, Cahill ranked third by value as legal advisor to U.S. underwriters of equity offerings, advising on deals that generated aggregate gross proceeds of more than $16 billion, and capturing an 8% share of the U.S. equity market. Cahill also ranked among the most active legal advisors to underwriters of global equity offerings and equity-linked transactions.
