Elai Katz Moderates Panel Discussion on Antitrust and Regulation in the Financial Markets

On Thursday, May 19th, Elai Katz moderated a panel discussion entitled “Applying Competition Economics in the Markets for Financial Instruments” at the Antitrust and Regulation in Financial Markets conference, hosted by Cornerstone Research. Joining Elai were speakers John Asker of the University of California, Los Angeles; Andrea Shepard of Cornerstone Research; and Jeffrey M. Wilder of the U.S. Department of Justice.
The conference explored recent developments in competition and regulatory policy as applied to financial markets and instruments. Panelists addressed recent and anticipated regulatory changes and the expanding litigation that continues to create challenges for financial institutions and their counsel.
