Cahill Wins Dismissal in Contract Case for Deutsche Bank AG

A Cahill litigation team prevailed on behalf of Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch in an action brought by Cortlandt Street Recovery Corp., in which the Plaintiff sought to recover €82.1 million from Deutsche Bank AG for breach of contract in connection with Security Agent services concerning Subordinated Notes issued by Hellas Telecommunications II, S.C.A. that are currently in default. The United States District Court for the Southern District of New York dismissed the suit in its entirety, ruling that Cortlandt failed to demonstrate standing to bring the action.
