Cahill Represents Underwriters in Offering by International Paper

Cahill represented Deutsche Bank Securities, J.P. Morgan and the other underwriters in connection with the public offering of $2,300,000,000 notes of International Paper Company, comprised of $1,100,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 3.000% Notes due 2027 and $1,200,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 4.400% Notes due 2047. Proceeds from the offering are to be used in connection with International Paper’s acquisition of Weyerhaeuser’s pulp business, as well as for general corporate purposes and to refinance existing indebtedness.
