Geoff's practice is principally focused on securities offerings and general public company representation, and his clients include both leading investment banks and issuers in a variety of industries. In particular, he has considerable experience over the past fifteen years in the bio-pharmaceutical industry, not only in the corporate finance context but also in a wide range of other transactions, including intellectual property licensing, research and development collaborations and acquisitions.

- Representation of XOMA Ltd., a Nasdaq-traded biopharmaceutical company, in its $72 million registered exchange offer for outstanding convertible debt and offering of new convertible debt.
- Representation of the underwriters in a $125 million offering of common stock of Myogen, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company focused on treatment of cardiovascular disorders.
- Representation of various underwriters associated with fourteen offerings of debt securities by subsidiaries of Wisconsin Energy Corporation, including the largest electric utility in Wisconsin, generating over $2 billion of proceeds over the past sixteen years.
- Representation of Credit Suisse and CIBC World Markets in providing $350 million of bank and high-yield financing for Jacobs Entertainment, Inc., an owner and operator of gaming and pari-mutuel wagering facilities.
- Representation of XOMA (US) LLC in its cancer research and development collaboration with Chiron Corporation (now Novartis).
- Representation of The Hain Celestial Group, Inc., a Nasdaq-traded natural and organic food and personal care products company, in its $34.5 million acquisition of Spectrum Organic Products, Inc., a public company.
- Representation of JPMorgan and the other underwriters in an $81.2 million offering of common stock of Keryx, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company focused on treatments for diabetes and cancer.
