Luis represents leading investment banks, private equity fund clients and corporations in debt and equity securities transactions, bank financings, mergers and acquisitions and out-of-court debt restructurings. His practice also includes representation of both public and private companies in connection with general corporate and securities law matters.
Luis is Co-Chair of Cahill's Diversity Committee and is a member of the firm's Legal Recruiting and Associate Liaison Committees. He has practiced at Cahill since his graduation from Harvard Law School. He became a partner in 2002.
Luis serves on the Board of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and on the Board of the Council of Urban Professionals (CUP). He is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and its Securities Regulation Committee.
