Herbert S. Washer Joins Cahill

Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP is pleased to announce that Herbert S. Washer has joined the firm as a partner in the litigation practice group. Mr. Washer joins Cahill with over two decades of experience representing clients in a wide variety of securities and antitrust-related civil litigation, as well as regulatory enforcement and criminal matters.
Mr. Washer represents leading financial institutions, corporations and individuals in complex cases concerning accounting fraud, derivative products, commodities and securities trading, market manipulation, banking and price-fixing. He is ranked among the top litigators in New York by Chambers USA and other law firm ranking publications.

Mr. Washer joins the firm from Shearman & Sterling LLP, where he served as the litigation group’s deputy practice group leader. He received his law degree from Boston University School of Law, cum laude, in 1991, and his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1988.
