A Cahill litigation team prevailed on behalf of Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, obtaining an affirmance of (1) an order entering summary judgment in Deutsche Bank’s favor arising from a $2.5 million claim for breach of contract against Rado Limited Partnership, and (2) dismissing counterclaims by Rado for approximately $10 million for breach of contract, aiding and abetting a breach of fiduciary duty, and gross negligence.

In a new article, Bloomberg Law discusses the recent growth in the corporate debt market as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Citing record amounts of debt issued in March and April across the board, the article highlighted Cahill as an impressive high-yield debt performer in its representation of managers on 30 high-yield bond issuances alone through April, which was more than twice the number of its closest competitor.
