Cahill Initiates Pro Bono Partnership with Sanctuary for Families

Cahill has initiated a pro bono advocacy partnership with Sanctuary for Families, New York’s leading nonprofit dedicated exclusively to serving the needs of victims of domestic violence and sex trafficking and their children. Sanctuary’s holistic approach provides its clients with a range of services, including safety planning, shelter, counseling, legal services, and economic empowerment. Sanctuary has helped thousands of domestic violence victims build safe lives.
Through the partnership, Cahill lawyers serve as advocates for domestic violence victims seeking protective orders in Family Court, provide legal counseling to immigrant domestic violence victims seeking permanent resident status or citizenship, and provide legal advice to victims of domestic violence and sex trafficking outside of litigation.
