Michael L. Feinberg Joins Cahill’s Securities Litigation & White Collar Defense Group as Counsel

Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP is pleased to announce that Michael L. Feinberg has joined the firm as Counsel in its Securities Litigation & White Collar Defense practice.
Mr. Feinberg’s practice is principally focused on advising global financial institutions, broker/dealers, hedge funds, corporations, and their directors and officers in complex securities litigations, internal investigations and regulatory inquiries and enforcement proceedings.
In welcoming Mr. Feinberg to Cahill, executive committee chairman Bill Hartnett commented, “Michael is an accomplished litigator who has successfully managed complex securities litigation and regulatory enforcement matters. The combination of his private practice and in-house experience with financial institutions, especially during this period of heightened regulatory scrutiny, will be a great benefit to our clients.”
Mr. Feinberg joins Cahill from Credit Suisse, where he was a Vice President in the Regulatory-Litigation group. “I am looking forward to joining Cahill,” said Mr. Feinberg. “I am excited to be returning to private practice and to be working with a group of exceptionally talented colleagues, advising world class clients, and continuing to expand Cahill’s highly-regarded securities and white collar defense practice.”
Mr. Feinberg clerked for Hon. United States District Court Judge Harold Baer, Jr., in the Southern District of New York. He is a 2003 graduate of New York University School of Law, where he served as Articles & Notes Editor for the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy and as a Teaching Assistant of Civil Procedure. He earned his B.A., with honors, from Amherst College.
