Silver Lake and TPG Agree to Acquire Avaya

Cahill is representing Citigroup and JPMorgan Chase & Co. in connection with their providing financing commitments for  the acquisition of telecommunications-equipment company Avaya by Silver Lake and TPG's TPG Capital LLC. The transaction is valued at about $8.2 billion.
