Cahill Represents Financing Sources in Acquisition of AVINTIV by Berry Plastics

Cahill represented the administrative agent and lead arrangers in connection with a $2,100,000,000 Term B loan for Berry Plastics Corporation, a leading provider of value-added plastic consumer packaging and engineered materials. Proceeds from the facility were used to fund a portion of Berry Plastics’ acquisition of AVINTIV Inc., one of the world’s leading developers, producers, and marketers of specialty materials used in infection prevention, personal care, and high-performance solutions.
Cahill also represented the joint book-running managers in connection with the Rule 144A offering of $400,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 6% Second Priority Senior Secured Notes due 2022 by Berry Plastics Corporation. Proceeds from the offering were also used toward the acquisition.
