Cahill Represents Lead Arrangers in Amended Revolving Facility and New Term Facility for Calpine Corporation

Cahill represented the lead arrangers and administrative agent in connection with an amendment to Calpine Corporation’s existing revolving credit facility to increase the capacity by approximately $330 million from approximately $1.69 billion to approximately $2.02 billion. Calpine Corporation also entered into a new seven year $950 million term loan facility. Calpine Corporation is the largest generator of electricity from natural gas and geothermal resources in the United States. Proceeds from the new term loan facility were used for refinancing existing indebtedness.
