Cahill Prevails in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in Securities Class Action

A Cahill team obtained a victory for Global Power Equipment Group in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. In a decision issued 18 days following oral argument, a Fifth Circuit panel affirmed the District Court’s dismissal with prejudice of a securities class action lawsuit against Global Power on the grounds that Plaintiffs had not pleaded a strong inference of scienter.
