Cahill represented the underwriters in connection with a public offering of common stock by VEREIT, Inc., resulting in net proceeds of approximately $887.2 million. The offering made available 94,300,000 shares of common stock, which included the full exercise of the underwriters’ over-allotment option. VEREIT, Inc. is a full-service real estate operating company which owns and manages one of the largest portfolios of single-tenant commercial properties in the United States. Proceeds from the offering are intended to be used for general corporate purposes and to pay amounts owed in connection with a litigation settlement.
