Cahill Represents Initial Purchasers in Morton Salt’s $1.6 Billion Notes Offering

Cahill represented the initial purchasers in connection with a rule 144A offering of a $1.1 billion aggregate principal amount of 6.625% senior first lien notes due 2031 and a $500 million aggregate principal amount of 8% senior notes due 2032 by SCIH Salt Holdings Inc., the parent company of Morton Salt.

Proceeds from the offering were used to refinance the issuer's existing securities and for general corporate purposes.

Morton Salt manufactures and distributes salt products, serving various industries including agriculture, food processing, and industrial sectors.
