Cahill's Capital Markets Practice Earns Top Rankings by Bloomberg in Q3 Global Legal Advisory League Tables

Cahill has again been ranked among the leading legal advisors to U.S. and global underwriters in several debt and equity categories tracked and reported by Bloomberg in its Q3 2012 Global Legal Advisory League Tables.
Cahill again ranked as the number one legal advisor to U.S. high yield bond underwriters, advising on 143 deals that generated $77.8 billion in aggregate gross proceeds, more than the next four ranked law firms combined. Cahill also ranked as the second most active legal advisor to U.S. underwriters in Bloomberg's overall debt category, advising on 166 deals that generated nearly $94 billion in aggregate gross proceeds, and ranked among the most active legal advisors to underwriters of U.S. investment grade bonds and underwriters of global bonds. Cahill ranked third as legal advisor to Euromarket underwriters, participating in 14 deals that generated aggregate gross proceeds of $4.7 billion. Deals included the three tranche multicurrency notes offering by Ardagh Packaging Finance plc and the €500,000,000 offering of 4.25% Senior Notes due 2019 by Fresenuis Finance, B.V. that funded its acquisition of Damp Group.
On the equity side, Cahill ranked among the most active legal advisors to U.S. underwriters of equity offerings and ranked fourth by deal count as legal advisors to underwriters of U.S. equity-linked transactions. Deals included representation of the various underwriters in common stock offerings by Meritage Homes, Inc., Charter Communications, Aircastle Limited and Caesars Entertainment Corp.
