Cahill’s Capital Markets Practice Tops Q3 2013 Global Legal Advisory League Tables

The Capital Markets practice of Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP earned top rankings across a range of markets and transactions in Bloomberg’s Q3 2013 Global Legal Advisory League Tables, reflecting the firm’s prominence as legal advisors to global underwriters of debt and equity securities transactions.
Cahill ranked as the number one legal advisor to U.S. high yield bond underwriters, advising on 156 deals that generated $88.2 billion in aggregate gross proceeds, more than the next four ranked law firms combined. Cahill has been the number one ranked legal advisor to U.S. high yield underwriters since 2005. Cahill also ranked second as legal advisor to U.S. underwriters in Bloomberg's overall corporate debt category, and ranked among the most active legal advisors to European underwriters of high yield debt securities, global bond underwriters and U.S. underwriters of investment grade bonds.
On the equity side, Cahill ranked among the top ten legal advisors to global and U.S. underwriters of IPOs, U.S. underwriters of equity offerings and U.S. underwriters in the equity linked category. Through the third quarter, Cahill participated in 26 ranked deals with a total value of approximately $11.6 billion.
