Cahill Summer Associate Receives ADL Best Legal Memo Award

Cahill summer associate Rashid Ahmed (Columbia Law School) was honored as the overall winner of the Anti-Defamation League’s 2016 Summer Associate Research Program Memo Competition. Rashid was recognized for his work in drafting a memo regarding the constitutional issues related to body mounted cameras on police officers. The 2016 competition was the ADL’s largest in recent years with nearly 50 memos submitted.
ADL’s Summer Associate Research Program (SARP) provides law firms the opportunity to assist ADL with legal research on important civil rights issues while exposing emerging attorneys to ADL’s mission and the importance of pro bono work.
