Reflecting its prominence in the U.S. deal markets, Cahill ranked as the number one legal advisor to lead arrangers in leveraged loans in 2017 by Thomson Reuters LPC, participating in 289 deals that generated nearly $361 billion in aggregate gross proceeds, and capturing a 33.5% share by volume of the U.S. leveraged loan market. Cahill has been the top ranked legal advisor to lead arrangers of leveraged loans since 2010.
Cahill also ranked number one as legal advisor to bookrunners in the overall loan transactions category by volume, participating in 306 deals that generated over $379 billion in aggregate gross proceeds.
A consistent leader in representing lead arrangers in M&A loan transactions, Cahill ranked as the number one legal advisor to lead arrangers in M&A loan transactions by deal count, advising on 83 deals that generated nearly $81 billion in aggregate gross proceeds in 2017.
