Joel Moss Named Dealmaker of the Year Finalist by New York Law Journal
Date: 09/02/25
Cahill partner Joel Moss has been named a finalist for Dealmaker of the Year by New York Law Journal.
Joel was recognized for his work on some of the most complex and high-profile restructurings of the past year, including Lumen Technologies’ $15 billion debt reprofiling, described by Fitch Ratings as “one of the largest private debt restructurings in U.S. history,” and New Fortress Energy’s multifaceted restructuring, which required the development of innovative solutions to unprecedented cross-border security challenges.
This recognition, along with the aforementioned matters, reflect Joel’s ability to guide clients through sophisticated transactions involving diverse stakeholders, truncated timelines, and novel legal and financial structures, while safeguarding client interests and enabling companies to achieve long-term stability.
The award winners will be announced on September 4 at the New York Legal Awards 2025 ceremony.
