Gail E. Johnston

Gail E. Johnston is an experienced litigator with a highly diversified practice. She has represented major U.S. and international companies in numerous fields including bankruptcy, patent, trademark, copyright, banking, reinsurance and antitrust.

A former newspaper editor, Gail is co-author of the annual survey of Prior Restraints law for the Practicing Law Institute as well as co-author of the annual Survey of Second Circuit Libel Law for the Media Law Resource Center. She was appointed in 2010 as a member of the New York State Bar Association's Task Force on the Future of the Legal Profession and is the co-chair of the New York State Bar Association Electronic Communications Committee.
