Jenny Warshafsky is Counsel in the New York office, where she focuses her practice on liability management, distressed debt, and restructuring matters.
With over 15 years of experience, Jenny advises commercial banks, agents, ad hoc lender groups, and direct lenders across the full lifecycle of a deal, from origination to interim liquidity solutions to comprehensive in-court and out-of-court restructurings, workouts and financings.
Jenny has deep expertise in covenant structuring and analysis, fatal flaw review, liability management transaction structuring, and the negotiation of anti-liability management protections. For over a decade, she has focused primarily on reviewing and identifying issues in syndicated loan transactions across the market, giving her a rare depth of market knowledge and technical acumen. This background, combined with Cahill's premier leveraged finance and capital markets practice, makes her uniquely situated as a liability management expert who brings both deep technical knowledge and practical commercial judgment and perspective to best protect lenders’ interests.
Jenny is also the Director of Cahill's Knowledge Management Group, overseeing a group of lawyers specializing in delivering knowledge-based solutions to clients to enhance the firm's market-leading expertise.
