John W. Hall III

John W. Hall III is Cahill’s Executive Director, Finance and Technology. He manages the firm's business affairs and administrative systems and is an advisor to Cahill’s Executive Committee. In this capacity, he provides support and guidance to the financial, information technology, research resources operations, litigation support, records and insurance functions for the firm. He also advises firm management on matters relating to strategic planning. John joined Cahill in 2011 as the Director of Finance, and became Executive Director in 2021.

John has been in the legal industry since 2000 serving as the chief financial officer at two prominent New York City law firms prior to joining Cahill. John worked for several years prior to his time in the legal industry, including for one of the first publicly owned automotive companies, and was involved in the preparation of its IPO and SEC filings. John is a Certified Public Accountant and served as the President of the New York City chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators, a 500-member organization comprised of law firm leaders.
