Mr. Kang's practice focuses on sophisticated domestic and international tax planning and structuring in connection with fund investments, corporate financing and mergers and acquisitions.  Mr. Kang regularly provides tax advice for private investment funds, investment banks, public companies as well as high net worth individuals. Particularly Mr. Kang provides legal and tax advice to various Chinese companies. Mr. Kang works extensively with legal and tax advisors in foreign jurisdictions including EU countries and China and helps in developing innovative and highly tax advantaged structures in several foreign jurisdictions.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Kang practiced law in China for several years and was a certified legal counsel of a major Chinese oil corporation. Mr. Kang is a native speaker of Chinese (Mandarin) and has published law books and articles in China.
