Mash is an associate in the London office of Cahill Gordon & Reindel (UK) LLP, where he focuses his practice on debt finance transactions.
Mash has a range of experience advising banks and financial institutions on leveraged financing transactions across the syndicated lending and private credit markets. He regularly advises clients on cross-border leveraged acquisition finance and syndicated lending transactions and has advised on several market-leading multi-jurisdictional leveraged buyouts of public and private companies, including notable take-private and infrastructure financings.
During his career, Mash has worked with financial sponsors including Apax and Brookfield, direct lending and private credit funds including Ares, Arcmont, Pemberton and Nomura, as well as banks including Barclays, J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Danske Bank and DNB.
Mash is dual-qualified in New York and South Africa. He holds an LL.M. from Columbia University, an LL.B. from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Bachelor of Commerce, also from the University of the Witwatersrand.
