Patrick Gordon is a partner in the New York office of Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP in the corporate practice group.
Pat represents leading investment banking firms and commercial banks primarily in connection with leveraged finance transactions, including financing involving syndicated loans and public and private capital markets transactions, including secured and unsecured debt securities. Pat has represented the financing sources in numerous mergers and acquisitions, including the acquisitions of Bausch & Lomb and Salix Pharmaceuticals by Valeant Pharmaceuticals, the merger of Quintiles and IMS Health, the merger of Scripps Media and ION Media, the acquisition of Tim Hortons by Burger King, the merger of Hill-Rom and Welch Allyn, the acquisitions of Infoblox, Infinite Electronics and Sundyne by Warburg Pincus, the acquisitions of Ziply Fiber and Shift4 Payments by Searchlight Capital and the acquisition of U.S. Renal Care by Bain Capital.
In addition, Pat has represented the initial purchasers in several recent high yield debt offerings for Live Nation Entertainment, Getty Images, Gaming & Leisure Properties, Standard Industries and ABC Supply.
Pat has experience practicing in a wide variety of industries, including telecommunications and media, entertainment, healthcare, financial services, retail and food services, gaming and industrials.
