Moving Beyond Compliance: The Effect of the New Rules on Corporate Boards
Bart Friedman was selected to be a panelist in the 2007 AESC Americas Conference.
A panel of corporate directors, governance experts and search consultants examined how the balance of power and rules of engagement are changing with the greater representation and involvement of independent directors. They discussed a more strategic approach to board recruiting and looked at the new director profile. Panelists commented on Board involvement with CEO compensation, succession planning and the relationship between boards and institutional shareholders.
