On Monday, June 3, 2019, Cahill Partner Brian Markley spoke at PLI's Doing Business in and with Emerging Markets 2019 on the panel "FCPA, Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering." The panel discussed corruption challenges for multinationals in emerging markets, compliance issues in M&A transactions, developments in anti-corruption regulations and enforcement, and working with government agencies.
