Jason Schwartz to speak at ABA Section of Taxation 2026 May Tax Meeting

Cahill partner Jason Schwartz will speak on the panel,  “Cryptocurrency Task Force” at  the ABA Section of Taxation 2026 May Tax Meeting on May 7.

The panel will examine the current state of digital assets tax policy, including pending legislation. The discussion will address legislative proposals that could impact the tax treatment of digital assets, how such measures may support broader adoption of the underlying technology, and what tax guidance would be most helpful to strengthen implementation of enacted legislation. Panelists will also offer forward-looking perspectives on what stand-alone digital assets tax legislation may be considered in the years ahead.
