Cahill partner Jason Schwartz will speak at the Digital Assets Council of Financial Professionals’ (DACFP) 8th Annual Crypto Convergence.
Jason will lead the “Top Crypto Tax Issues Every Advisor Needs to Know About” session, where he will discuss tax rules that are unique to crypto, including surprising tax consequences for stablecoin users and the taxation of staking and mining rewards. The session will also explore tax rules for crypto ETFs, what constitutes a taxable exchange in crypto-land, and the latest developments regarding legislative proposals.
