Cahill partner Ed O’Callaghan addressed strategic decisions for in-house and outside counsel, with a focus on “Concluding the Internal Investigation” at Practicing Law Institute (PLI)’s Internal Investigations 2026, on June 23, 2026, at PLI’s Anita C. Shapiro Conference Center in New York City.  

The session explored best practices for bringing internal investigations to a close, including the reaching of findings, addressing employment considerations, selecting corrective actions and appropriate remediation, memorializing conclusions, and deciding whether and to whom to self-report.
