Gary Kalbaugh to Speak at IndyFest 2026

Cahill partner Gary Kalbaugh will speak on the panel “The Unpredictability of Prediction Markets” at IndyFest 2026.

Gary will join a panel of industry participants to discuss the regulatory framework for prediction markets, including their status as federally regulated event contracts under the Commodity Exchange Act and the jurisdiction of the CFTC. He will also address recent developments in Nevada and the broader questions of federal and state authority facing the industry.
