Cahill Represents Initial Purchasers in $3.25 Billion Private Placement by CIT Group

Cahill represented J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and the other initial purchasers in connection with the $3,250,000,000 Rule 144A/Reg S offering by CIT Group Inc., comprised of $1,500,000,000 4.750% Series C Second-Priority Secured Notes due 2015 and $1,750,000,000 5.5% Series C Second-Priority Secured Notes due 2019. The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes and to refinance existing indebtedness.
