Cahill partner Joel Kurtzberg was recently appointed to Law360’s 2020 Media & Entertainment Editorial Advisory Board. As a member of the editorial advisory board, Joel will provide feedback on Law360's coverage and expert insight on how best to shape future coverage.
Joel Kurtzberg has extensive experience in First Amendment and media law, frequently representing newspapers, broadcasters, journalists, and others on First Amendment and other constitutional matters. Recognized by the Financial Times and National Law Journal as innovative and effective, Chambers USA ranks Joel among New York's top First Amendment litigators. He was also recently named by the National Press Photographers Association as a 2019 recipient of the “Alicia Calzada First Amendment Award” in recognition of his work on behalf of photojournalist Jason Nicholas in Nicholas v. Bratton.
