Cahill Represents Cable One, Inc. in its Acquisition or Investment in Three Communications Service Providers

Cahill represented Cable One, Inc. (NYSE: CABO), a leading broadband communications provider serving more than 952,000 residential and business customers in 21 states through its Sparklight™, Clearwave, and Fidelity brands, in its recent transactions with three communications service providers: Valu-Net LLC, Wisper ISP, LLC, and AMG Technology Investment Group, LLC (“Nextlink). Valu-Net, based in Emporia, Kansas, provides fiber-based high-speed Internet, voice, and HDTV services to approximately 23,000 customers, and Wisper ISP and Nextlink are both providers of fixed wireless Internet and voice services. Under the terms of the respective purchase agreements, Cable One acquired Valu-Net, and made a minority equity investment in Wisper ISP and Nextlink. The transactions will allow Cable One to expand its networks and bring additional broadband to unserved and underserved parts of America.
