May 6, 2026

Cahill partner Greg Strong appointed to Delaware’s newly established Blockchain and Digital Innovation Task Force.

Established by Senate Concurrent Resolution 143, the Task Force is charged with examining opportunities to maintain and augment Delaware’s position as a leader in blockchain and digital innovation.

Over the next 12 months, Greg and the other Task Force members will convene to identify strategies for attracting and retaining businesses engaged in digital assets and related technologies, while developing appropriate consumer protections and regulatory clarity. The Task Force convened its first meeting virtually on May 15, 2026, and will deliver a final report containing its findings and recommendations to the General Assembly and Governor by July 1, 2027.

Greg was recently quoted by Delaware Public Media discussing the state’s efforts to update blockchain-related rules amid increased legislative activity in other states.  Greg noted that “Delaware has a really great opportunity to take back this leadership position that it had at the outset.”
