Cahill Represents Validus Holdings, Ltd. in $410 Million Acquisition of Talbot Holdings, Ltd.

Cahill is representing Bermuda-based reinsurer Validus Holdings, Ltd. in its recently announced pending acquisition of Talbot Holdings Ltd. Talbot is the Bermudian parent of the specialty insurance group operating within the Lloyd’s insurance market through Syndicate 1183 and Underwriting Risk Services Ltd. The transaction consideration to be paid to the selling shareholders is valued at approximately US$410 million, to be paid in a combination of cash and Validus common shares.
