Cahill Led Transaction Named a Cross Border Deal of the Year by The M&A Advisor

The transaction between a leading provider of research models and services, and a leading global life sciences company that is integrated in guiding patient care, has been named a Cross Border Deal of the Year ($100MM–$1B) by The M&A Advisor in its 18th Annual M&A Advisor Awards. Cahill represented the Company in connection with a complex, nearly-simultaneous, four-part M&A agreement, in which the Company undertook a sale, a spin-out, a purchase by the spin-out, and a continuing services agreement between the Company and a global life sciences company. The Cahill team representing the Company was led by executive compensation and benefits counsel Mark J. Gelman; and tax partner Craig M. Horowitz.
