Benjamen Starkweather is an associate in the New York office of Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP where he focuses his practice on Litigation matters with an emphasis on matters relating to Internal Investigations, Securities & Regulatory Enforcement, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Anti-Corruption, Compliance & Trade Sanctions.
Ben assists in advising global companies and their officers, directors, and special committees, focusing on internal investigations and inquiries by the DOJ, SEC, and other governmental agencies and self-regulatory organizations, compliance counseling, white-collar defense, and securities litigation. His work includes criminal and regulatory investigations and enforcement actions relating to the FCPA, securities fraud, and financial integrity. He also helps conduct internal investigations and assists multinational companies in assessing and enhancing their regulatory compliance programs.
