Sarah is a regulatory and transactional attorney whose practice sits squarely at the intersection of finance and frontier technology. She advises clients on all matters in the space of digital assets and emerging technology, including general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital investments, securities and financial regulatory matters.

Sarah steers clients through every stage of a digital-asset initiative—from protocol design through venture financings, token launches, on-chain real-world-asset (RWA) initiatives, and strategic exits. Her deal sheet spans SAFEs/SAFTs, DeFi project collaborations, cross-border M&A, and complex commercial arrangements, all while navigating the entire alphabet of U.S. regulatory oversight—SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, OFAC, and state money-transmitter and banking regulators.

Sarah represents a broad spectrum of market leaders, including layer-1 foundations; development companies building DeFi protocols; industry leading centralized exchanges and trading firms; stablecoin issuers; and top-tier crypto venture funds.

Recent highlights include leading the first-of-its-kind sale of Slingshot Finance, Inc., a crypto-native trading app, to NFT powerhouse Magic Eden; structuring fundraising rounds for Web3 native start-ups that include both equity and token; and guiding industry participants through the SEC’s evolving securities-law posture on mining, staking, stablecoin, disclosure requirements for crypto companies, among others.

Sarah is a frequent PLI faculty member and speaks regularly at Consensus, EthDenver, RWA Summit and other major industry conferences. Her commentary appears in Law360, Chambers Global Practice Guides and Global Legal Insights, where she authors annual chapters on key topics and trends in blockchain and crypto related matters.
