Cahill represented Barclays Capital Inc., as initial purchaser, in connection with a Rule 144A/Regulation S offering of $1,500,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 9.000% Senior Notes due 2025 by Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc., a pharmaceutical manufacturing company. Proceeds from the offering were used to refinance existing indebtedness.
