Helene Banks Speaks at Second Annual Women’s Leadership Institute

On Friday, January 25, 2019, Cahill partner Helene Banks spoke at Fordham Law School's second annual Women’s Leadership Institute. The goal of the Women’s Leadership Institute is to empower and equip participants to succeed in law school and in the practice of law. The panel discussed the importance of building robust professional networks, making strategic decisions that will advance one’s career, how to recognize and manage the impact of gender dynamics on one’s career, how to maintain work-life balance, and issues unique to female attorneys of color. Helene was joined by panelists: Christa D’Alimonte (General Counsel, Viacom); Kathryn Ruemmler (Partner, Latham & Watkins LLP); Khadijah Sharif-Drinkard, Vice President and Associate General Counsel, Viacom Media Networks and BET Networks and Aviva O. Will (Senior Managing Director, Burford Capital).
