Helene Banks, Colleen Tracy James, and Kiersten Fletcher Named to Crain’s New York 2026 Notable Women in Law

Cahill partners Helene Banks, Colleen Tracy James, and Kiersten Fletcher have been recognized by Crain’s New York Business’ 2026 Notable Women in Law list.

Helene Banks was highlighted for her transformational deal for Southern Entertainment in its January 2025 sale to the Opry Entertainment group. In addition, Helene advises both publicly held and private companies on major corporate and securities issues, with a specific focus on M&A, corporate governance, and capital market transactions.

Colleen Tracy James was recognized for her recent representation of Voltage in a patent infringement case. Colleen’s practice is centered on intellectual property matters, particularly in pharmaceutical and biotechnology patent litigation.

Kiersten Fletcher was honored for her role in obtaining a $4.9 billion restitution order on behalf of Credit Suisse. Kiersten also advises global financial institutions, digital asset exchanges, and individuals regarding criminal and regulatory investigations by the DOJ, SEC, and FINRA.

This year, the Crain’s Notable Women in Law list honored 131 women for their leadership and impact, across a wide range of high-profile matters, including litigation representation at the highest levels of the judiciary, complex transactional work, and significant regulatory and investigative matters, while also mentoring the next generation of legal professionals.
