The Legal Aid Society Honors Cahill with its 2018 Pro Bono Publico Award
Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP has again been recognized by the Legal Aid Society for its “outstanding service to The Legal Aid Society and its clients through exceptional pro bono service” and will receive the Society’s 2018 Pro Bono Publico Award. Cahill has won this award annually since 2005, when the firm first began to work closely with the pro bono clients of the Society.
Along with the firm-wide recognition, the following Cahill lawyers have also been recognized for their outstanding work: Landis Best, Josiah Slotnick, John Spagna, Kerry Burns, Jana Douglas, Kyrie Graziosi, Courtney LaHaie, Samantha Lawson, Alexandria Plaia, Ethan Rosenfeld, Caroline Saucier, Scott Singer and Alexis Soshnick.
In partnership with The Legal Aid Society, Cahill is able to provide pro bono representation to young children who are subjects of abuse and neglect in proceedings in New York Family Courts, to disabled individuals in need of social security benefits, to tenants who are denied the most basic of services and to indigent defendants in criminal appeals.
