Cahill Team Selected as Finalist by ‘Litigator of the Week’ for Victory on Behalf of Credit Suisse in Securities Matter

Cahill partners Herb Washer, Jason Hall, Edward Moss and Tammy Roy, and counsel Nicholas Matuschak have been selected as “Litigator of the Week” finalists by The American Lawyer’s Litigation Daily for their work representing Credit Suisse.

The team was recognized for securing a Second Circuit victory in a shareholder suit that sought to to hold the bank and certain executives accountable for events leading to the 2023 merger with UBS.  The Cahill team successfully advocated for the appellate court to uphold a decision dismissing RICO claims with prejudice and breach of fiduciary claims on forum non conveniens grounds.
